Bioenergy Treatments that Worked

A visit to http://www.domancicmethod.eu/ throws up more examples of the success of the Domancic Method of Bioenergy Healing. Among the examples cited is the destruction of in vitro cancer cells at the Institute of Oncology, Ljubljana, Slovenia after a seven minute Bioenergy treatment by Domancic. Also mentioned is the documented treatment in 1985 of 300 people with advanced gangrene. The patients were cured without the need for amputations.

I was interested to hear Brendan Grace during a recent Late Late Show refer to his own experience of successful Bioenergy Treatment. There was no noticeable change in Bottler’s demeanour.

The Laughter Yoga Movement was started in 1995 by Dr Madan Kataria; an initial session with just 5 people in a Mumbai park has since mushroomed into a global movement with over 6,000 clubs in 60 countries.

Just last week came the report: “ a research team led by evolutionary anthropologists from Oxford University in the UK has concluded that the endorphins released by a big belly laugh in a social setting can make pain more bearable.” Noting that laughter was more likely in groups, it was reported that “Laughing with friends for around 15 minutes boosts a person’s pain threshold by an average of 10%."

The paper, entitled “Social laughter is correlated with an elevated pain threshold” was published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B.

Laughter Yoga in Rathmines

Catherine will be leading two Laughter Yoga sessions as part of ‘Festival Under The Clock’ on April 2nd in Rathmines Town Hall. The sessions are at 11am and 2pm, admission is free. She recommends you wear loose clothing, bring a yoga mat or towel to lie on, and a bottle of water.

A combination of unconditional laughter and yogic breathing, Laughter Yoga is a group activity in which laughter is induced without comedy but soon becomes contagious and yields well proven physiological and psychological benefits to those involved.

Clinical research on Laughter Yoga has proven that laughter lowers the level of stress hormones e.g. epinephrine and cortisol in the blood. It combats stress and depression, fosters positivity and hopefulness.

A trawl through some ‘laughter quotations’ confirms the above, my favourites include:

“Laughter is an instant vacation” - Milton Berle

“Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face” -Victor Hugo

“Laughter………. the most civilised music in the world” - Peter Ustinov

“There is little success where there is little laughter” - Andrew Carnegie

“Mirth is God's medicine. Everybody ought to bathe in it.” Henry Ward Beecher

“A good, real, unrestrained, hearty laugh is a sort of glorified internal massage, performed rapidly and automatically. It manipulates and revitalizes corners and unexplored crannies of the system that are unresponsive to most other exercise methods.” Author unknown

(This latter is true, there are very impressive and genuine statistics for the value of laughter as a physical work-out. Elsewhere it has been described as an internal jog.)

Stress and Bioenergy

A lot of research has been carried out on the links between stress and various forms of cancer. The connection is no longer in doubt, but there are a number of proposed mechanisms which have different degrees of corroboration. These include the well- known suppression effect of stress on our immune cells, particularly as our immune systems contain cells that destroy cancerous cells. Another mechanism assigns a direct role to stress in triggering cancer; it involves stress as a trigger to the signalling between cells that work together in tumour growth. Yet another line of study suggests that stress might also reduce the effectiveness of cancer treatments.

We are all aware of other symptoms of stress: raised blood pressure, increased susceptibility to infections, skin conditions etc. These in addition to the lowering of our quality of life due to sleep loss, loss of appetite, libido, etc. and increased irritability in our interactions with others. There are many well-known methods of lowering stress, e.g. meditation, yoga, getting away from it all, walking; conscious steps must be taken to change how we deal with stress.

Bioenergy treatments are especially successful in dealing with stress-related conditions. Clients of Bioenergy for Health almost always remark on the relaxing nature of the treatment, a majority of those that have come claim that their levels of stress have dropped notably even before the four day treatment is finished.
